The Habib Yar Charity Foundation has allocated more than AFN 1.5 million to support the families of 14 residents of Dara-e Bum District in Badghis Province who recently lost their lives along a migration route in the deserts of Nimroz Province as a result of extreme heat, thirst, and hunger.
As part of this humanitarian initiative, Haji Mawlawi Abdul Haq “Siddiqi,” accompanied by a number of representatives of the Habib Yar Charity Foundation, travelled to the village of Qalqi in Dara-e Bum District, Badghis Province. During the visit, the foundation’s delegation met with the bereaved families, expressed its condolences and solidarity, and provided the allocated cash assistance to help address some of the immediate needs and difficulties faced by the families following their tragic loss.
Officials of the Habib Yar Charity Foundation emphasized during the visit that supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged families, particularly those who have lost loved ones in difficult and tragic circumstances, is an important part of the foundation’s humanitarian and social responsibility. They further reaffirmed that the foundation would continue, within the limits of its available resources, to stand alongside families in need and provide them with support.
The Governor’s Office of Badghis expressed its appreciation for the humanitarian initiative undertaken by the Habib Yar Charity Foundation and called on other charitable organizations and aid agencies to fulfil their humanitarian and social responsibilities by supporting families facing hardship and vulnerability.
Reaffirming its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, the Habib Yar Charity Foundation considers serving the people and assisting families in need among its foremost humanitarian and social responsibilities. The foundation remains committed to standing alongside the people of Afghanistan during difficult times and extending assistance wherever its resources and capacity allow.
