As part of its ongoing relief initiatives, the Habibyar Charity Foundation has distributed 10,000 aid packages to vulnerable families across Herat Province. Of these, 3,500 packages were allocated to service staff of the departments of municipality, education, public health, the regional hospital, martyrs and disabled affairs, technical and vocational education, as well as personnel of the Grand Mosque of Herat.

The distribution ceremony was held on Monday, the 25th of Hoot, in the presence of local authorities, officials from the aforementioned departments, representatives of the Union of Charity Foundations of Herat Province, and a number of community elders.

Each aid package includes 50 kilograms of flour, one carton of macaroni, 5 liters of cooking oil, and one package of tomato paste.

As part of the continued effort:
1,000 packages were distributed to service staff of the state university, the Department of Information and Culture, the Traffic Management Department, the Mustofiat (Finance Office), retired teachers, and the Department of Justice.

An additional 5,500 packages were also distributed to laborers and vulnerable individuals across Herat Province who had been fairly identified through a survey process.

Officials from the various departments expressed their appreciation for the continued assistance provided by the Habibyar Charity Foundation, noting that such support plays a vital role in assisting vulnerable families and service workers amid the current economic challenges.

Furthermore, Mawlawi Abdulhaq Siddiqi, General Director of the Habibyar Charity Foundation, emphasized that supporting those in need is one of the foundation’s core objectives, and that the organization remains committed to standing alongside deserving families.
