In a grand ceremony held at the Grand Hall of Molana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi, the Herat Provincial Local Administration expressed its appreciation for the valuable activities and services of the Habibyar Charity Foundation in supporting returnee migrants.
The program was attended by prominent national figures, officials from the Chambers of Industry and Mines, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, religious scholars, community elders, various social groups, and numerous residents of Herat. During the ceremony, special recognition was given to the effective and constructive role of the Foundation in assisting families of migrants returning from Iran.
In recent days, the Foundation has provided notable services by organizing transport convoys for returnees from the Islam Qala border to various provinces, including Herat and Kabul, and distributing thousands of food and health packages to needy and vulnerable families.
Additionally, through its active presence at the Islam Qala border crossing, the Foundation provides daily hot meals and drinking water to over a thousand returnees. Its kitchens in Nimroz Province have also consistently served thousands of returning migrants over the past several years.
As one of the largest charitable organizations in the country, the Habibyar Charity Foundation maintains an active presence in various sectors, including education, healthcare services, food distribution, mass wedding ceremonies, mosque construction, and diverse humanitarian programs.
Recently, the Foundation also established health and hygiene services at the temporary migrant settlement in Tank-e-Mawlavi, enabling care for thousands of needy compatriots—a clear demonstration of its spirit of cooperation, solidarity, and social responsibility.
