On March 25, 2025 (6th of Hamal, 1404 – Solar Hijri calendar), the second annual “Best of Media in Western Afghanistan” festival was held at the conference hall of the Habibyar International Hospital in Herat, supported financially by the Habibyar Charity Foundation and organized under its memorandum of understanding with the Committee for the Support and Supervision of Journalists and Media.
The festival was conducted in collaboration with the Herat Provincial Department of Information and Culture and supported financially by the Habibyar Charity Foundation, Emtess Group Construction Company, and the Khorasan Exchange Complex, attracting extensive participation from journalists, media outlets, and cultural and social figures.
At the festival, media and journalists from western Afghanistan submitted over 100 entries, including TV and radio programs, news photos, written reports, documentaries, and other media productions. After evaluation by the jury, winners were selected in 11 categories:
