The 14th Collective Wedding Ceremony for 100 Young Couples Held in Nimroz Province
Organized and Sponsored by the Habibyar Charity Foundation
On Thursday, September 30, 2025 (10th of Mizan, 1404), the Habibyar Charity Foundation held the 14th round of collective weddings for 100 young couples in a grand ceremony in Zaranj, the capital of Nimroz Province.
The event was attended by a number of local officials, tribal elders, and citizens of Nimroz.
Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Haq Siddiqi, the General Director of the Habibyar Charity Foundation, stated:
“In addition to covering all the expenses of this ceremony, the Habibyar Charity Foundation has also donated more than 70 household items (dowry essentials) to each couple, enabling them to begin their married life with peace and hope.”
Habibullah Elham, Head of Information and Culture of Nimroz Province, in his speech expressed appreciation for the charitable efforts of the foundation and emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of simplicity and avoiding extravagant and unnecessary expenses in wedding ceremonies.
The newlyweds also expressed their happiness and gratitude for this humanitarian initiative and encouraged other young people to adopt the tradition of simple and collective weddings, fostering a spirit of cooperation and solidarity in society.
As part of its ongoing humanitarian and service-oriented activities, the Habibyar Charity Foundation has organized dozens of collective wedding ceremonies across various provinces of Afghanistan in recent years, helping underprivileged couples start a new life without financial burden.
It is noteworthy that the foundation has planned to hold a similar ceremony for another 100 young couples in Herat Province within the next month.
This major event stands as a symbol of cooperation, social solidarity, and compassion, reflecting the beautiful message of kindness, hope, and mutual support within the community.
