Inauguration of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) Grand Mosque
“Only those shall maintain the mosques of Allah who believe in Allah and the Last Day…”

On Friday, October 17, 2025 (25th of Mizan 1404), a grand and spiritual inauguration ceremony was held for the Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) Grand Mosque, supported and financed by Al-Haj Mohammad Ebrahim Habibyar, founder of the Habibyar Charity Foundation, in Anar Dara District, Farah Province.
This meaningful and impressive ceremony was attended by a large number of scholars, elders, businessmen, government officials, and prominent figures of the Islamic Emirate from the provinces of Farah, Herat, Kabul, Nimroz, and other regions of the country. The convoy of honorable guests traveled with great devotion and sincerity to the beautiful district of Anar Dara. In an atmosphere filled with faith and gratitude, participants expressed appreciation and offered prayers for Al-Haj Mohammad Ebrahim Habibyar, honoring his noble and lasting contribution.
The foundation stone of this grand mosque was laid on July 29, 2023 (7th of Asad 1402) in the presence of Al-Haj Mohammad Ebrahim Habibyar, local scholars, and community elders. This remarkable and valuable project was completed at a total cost of 400,000 USD, fully funded by the Habibyar Charity Foundation.
The design and construction work of the mosque was carried out by the Turkish construction company Habibyar Umtes Group, which successfully completed this magnificent structure with the highest international standards, combining strength, beauty, and architectural excellence.
This grand mosque stands not only as a place of worship and devotion to Allah but also as a symbol of faith, unity, cooperation, and service to religion and humanity.
